Connect to the L2Express.NeT Community servers is very simple. It is only necessary to follow the following steps:
1º - Download Lineage II CT2 Gracia FINAL.
2º - Update the client to maximum (system is optional).
3º - Create a server acount.
4º - Modify the "hosts" file.
5º - Start the game and select a server to play.
6º - Create your character and play.

2- Update the client to maximum.
Clicking to the LineageII.exe and then in check files will automatically update the client with the latest data from the oficial Lineage servers. When the download is finished you can click Start button.
2.1- Optional System
If you can enter to the server you can try to download the following System and overwrite the system in your LineageII installation directory.
3- Create a server acount
You can create an acount visiting: http://acm.l2express.net/?act=create
The forum account is not linked to the server account, so you must create a server acount and a forum account separately. It's recomended, although, that both accounts were similar in order to avoid confusions.
The abusive creation of accounts by a same player is not allowed. Measures will be taken when account saturation increases.
4- Modify the "hosts" file.
In order to connect to the L2ExpresS server you must edit a file in your windows direcory called host. You can do this easily with the following steps:
Click Start -> Execute
And copy/paste this:
%systemroot%system32driversetchosts
Select in the window that will open "notepad" for opening the file.
And be sure that the contents of the file is exactly this:

Then save the file.
5- Start the game and select a server to play.
Use the shortcut in your desktop to start the game. Click Start and after a while the login screen will shown up. Use the username and password of the acount you created in the step 3.
If everything goes well, you will see the server list of L2ExpresS comunity. Select the server you want and go ahead.
6- Create your character
When succesfully connected to a server, the game will ask you to create a new character. Have fun!
